Delaney George

Delaney is from Corona, California, and attended San Diego State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and teaching credential. She has worked with children since 2021, including two years as a preschool teacher, followed by student teaching and substitute teaching. This is her first year as an elementary teacher, and she is excited to create a fun, safe, and supportive classroom for her kindergarten scholars. Delaney loves seeing their faces light up when they discover something they enjoy or finally understand a new concept. Delaney strives to help every scholar feel valued, confident, and excited to learn. She hopes to continue growing as an educator, build strong relationships with scholars and families, and one day earn her master’s degree. Outside the classroom, Delaney enjoys playing pickleball, spending time in nature, and snowboarding. She loves The Summer I Turned Pretty series, and her favorite food is pasta—especially anything with pesto! What Delaney loves most about REACH is its strong sense of community. She appreciates how the House System brings scholars and staff together, as well as the instructional coaching and ongoing support REACH provides its teachers.
