Parent Organizations

At REACH, we want to inform, involve, and engage parents in their child’s learning. Our three parent organizations offer academic and social-emotional support in a parent peer setting. Each committee holds meetings that cover topics such as student achievement data, recommendations, and best practices. The African American Parent Advisory Committee (AAPAC) and the School Site Council (SSC) offer parents and community members the chance to fill school governance positions. Each committee allows families to share their strengths and weaknesses in the hopes of helping other families reach their full potential. These committees also provide the school administration with stakeholder feedback to inform school plans and the budget.
