Day of STEAM

REACH’s Day of STEAM was a full-campus celebration of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning. For one exciting day, scholars stepped into immersive experiences designed to spark wonder and show just how powerful learning can be when it’s interactive and joyful.

Throughout the day, scholars rotated through engaging stations that blended science, technology, engineering, art, math, and movement. From eye-opening demonstrations to make-and-take creations, every experience encouraged scholars to ask questions, test ideas, and think critically. Learning wasn’t confined to desks—it was active, collaborative, and full of energy.

Community partners played an important role in bringing real-world connections to life, helping scholars see how STEAM skills show up in careers, creativity, and everyday problem-solving. Laughter, awe, and excitement could be felt across campus as scholars discovered new interests and talents.

Day of STEAM reflected what we value most at REACH: learning that inspires confidence, fuels imagination, and reminds scholars that their ideas matter. It was a day full of “wow” moments—and one that scholars will remember long after the stations were packed up.
