The holiday season at REACH is always filled with warmth, generosity, and community—and this year’s Ukulu Toy Drive was a powerful reminder of what happens when we come together with purpose.
As one of REACH’s cherished traditions, the Ukulu Toy Drive reflects our commitment to caring for one another beyond the classroom. Families, scholars, and staff rallied together to ensure that every scholar in need felt the joy and magic of the season. Through collective generosity, we didn’t just meet our goal—we exceeded it.
Thanks to the kindness of our REACH families and community, more than 50 scholars received gifts this holiday season. Each donated toy represented more than a present; it was a message of love, dignity, and belonging. For many families, this support made the holidays brighter and more joyful in meaningful ways.
What made this year especially special was the spirit behind the giving. Scholars learned firsthand that leadership includes service, empathy, and looking out for others. The Ukulu house led with heart, showing that generosity is a powerful way to build community and spread hope.
