A Wonderful Day of Play at REACH — Where Imagination Led the Way

Our Elementary School campus recently transformed into a hub of creativity, laughter, and joyful discovery during our much-anticipated Day of Play—and what a beautiful day it was.

From the moment scholars arrived in comfy clothes and cozy pajamas, there was a different kind of energy in the air. The schedule slowed down, the pressure lifted, and space was intentionally created for something incredibly important: play.

Classrooms and shared spaces were filled with board games, puzzles, LEGOs, art supplies, building materials, and hands-on creative stations. Scholars built forts, designed imaginative creations, collaborated on games, and explored new ways to problem-solve together. You could see teamwork unfolding naturally as scholars negotiated rules, shared ideas, and supported one another through challenges.

While it may have looked like simple fun on the surface, the learning happening throughout the day was powerful. Through unstructured play, scholars strengthened communication skills, practiced collaboration, developed resilience, and sparked creativity. They made decisions, solved problems, and built confidence—all while laughing and connecting with friends.

At REACH, we believe learning doesn’t only happen through textbooks and lessons. It also happens through imagination, exploration, and meaningful social interaction. The Day of Play was a reminder that when scholars feel joyful and connected, growth follows.

Thank you to our families and staff for supporting this special day and for recognizing the importance of balance in a scholar’s journey. We loved seeing our Royals shine in their creativity and kindness—and we can’t wait for more moments that celebrate learning in all its forms.
