Special Education

The special education department here at REACH strives to meet the needs of our neurodiverse scholars. We aim to collaborate with families to address the academic, behavioral, and social needs of our scholars through specialized instruction and the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process. Students with disabilities may be eligible to receive special education related services through an IEP. All special education services and placement eligibility are determined by the IEP team and assessment results. We strive to meet the educational needs of our scholars within the least restrictive environment and focus on an inclusion model approach. We want all of our scholars to have equal access to the general education instruction despite their disability.
