Amber Pinon
5th Grade Science Teacher
Amber Pinon was born and raised in Corona, where she has lived for 27 years. She attended California State University, San Bernardino, earning both her bachelor’s degree and teaching credential. Amber began her teaching career in 2022 and has worked as a substitute teacher for three years, including a five-month long-term position in 4th grade.
Amber loves that REACH supports the unique abilities of all students and staff. Her personal goal is to enhance instruction through the use of technology. Amber is passionate about exploring new teaching tools to make learning more engaging. She believes in fostering a safe learning environment and values the constant growth and learning that comes with being an educator.
Outside the classroom, Amber enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, trying new foods and restaurants, and exploring museums. She’s a fan of The Hunger Games and loves Mexican food. An avid runner, she has completed three marathons and appreciates how running has become a great stress reliever in her life.
