After graduating as Salutatorian from Van Nuys Medical Magnet High School, Satbir Singh, MD earned a B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA, attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed Internal Medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. She went on to a fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Utah and, since 2018, has served as the Division Head of Endocrinology at Riverside Medical Clinic. Along the way, Dr. Singh benefited from exceptional mentors and contributed to research with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) through the Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, experiences that continue to inform her clinical practice.
Dr. Singh describes her patients as the heart of her work—supporting, guiding, and celebrating their progress is what brings her to clinic each day. Professionally, she is focused on growing her practice, teaching, and expanding community outreach; personally, she strives to stay active, remain humble, and be the best mother she can be to her son. A milestone she’s especially proud of is becoming the first woman to lead the Endocrinology division at Riverside Medical Clinic. She also shares that being a single mother and a survivor of domestic violence has shaped her resilience and deepened her compassion—qualities that guide how she shows up for patients, colleagues, and community.
Raised in Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Singh loves getting outdoors to hike, staying active, and unwinding with meditation, a good book—her favorite is Fahrenheit 451—and a bit of organized calm. She never turns down great Indian food or time spent playing with her son. What she loves most about REACH is the school’s true family feel: an engaged, approachable staff who are communicative, caring, and dedicated to giving each student individualized support and knowledge. To Dr. Singh, REACH is a place where children aren’t just taught—they are genuinely cared for.
