Monae Gascon
1st Grade Teacher (Co-Team Lead)
After graduating from San Diego State and Lesley University, Mrs. Gascon began teaching in 2007 as a first-grade teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. She shares how she loves how diverse REACH is and feels like it is a big family where everyone has the same goal: to see our kids succeed. Monae’s favorite thing about her job is getting the chance to meet new kids every year and being challenged to help them grow and learn. Away from the classroom, she loves cooking and baking and hanging out with her family. Her goal is to continue to grow as an educator and be her best self for her students.
