Sandra Oropeza

Sandra Oropeza received her degree from the Mt. SAC and California State University Los Angeles. She began her career working with small children in early childhood development. In 2017, she started her REACH journey teaching 6th grade and then became a 4th grade teacher. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing how each student makes unique growth throughout the year. She believes it's truly amazing to see their development from day one till the last day of school, not just academically but as individuals. Sandra loves how REACH has such a unique blend of students & staff from different cultures and backgrounds. “Diversity allows us to make connections and learn from each other while still being able to celebrate our differences.” Outside of the classroom, Sandra likes to spend her free time reading physical books and trying new foods. Her goal is to motivate her students to read for enjoyment.
